This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong technical skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Install, configure, and test building automation systems, including sensors, controllers, and software interfaces Diagnose and resolve issues related to BAS hardware and software, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on building automation systems to ensure reliability and efficiency Assist in programming and configuring control systems to meet specific project requirements and needs Maintain accurate records of system configurations, maintenance activities, and service reports Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and offer technical support Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to ensure seamless integration of systems and successful project execution Provide training and support to clients and staff on BAS operations and maintenance practices Adhere to all safety protocols and industry regulations while performing job duties Qualifications Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute for formal education Universal EPA certification (upon hire/within 14 days of hire) 3+ years of experience in building automation systems or controls technology Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, control theory, and energy management principles Proficiency in BAS software and programming languages (e.g., BACnet, Modbus) Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Strong communication and customer service skills
Pay:
$36.00 - $55.00 per hour
