Full Job Description Position:
Controls Testing Technician M1003/#3364ST We are seeking a detail-oriented technician to perform electrical testing, quality inspections, and troubleshooting on industrial equipment in a manufacturing setting. This role supports production quality by verifying functionality, interpreting technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety and engineering standards. Key Responsibilities Test and verify industrial electrical equipment (24VDC-480VAC) to ensure proper function and safety compliance Use electrical testing tools (multimeters, insulation testers, high-potential voltage testers, etc.) Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation Perform quality control inspections, document results, and identify non-conformances Support troubleshooting of electrical, PLC, VFD, and mechanical/pumping systems (as needed) Travel between facilities for quality checks, audits, and training support Maintain accurate records and follow established procedures, safety rules, and regulatory requirements Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred 0-2 years of experience in electrical troubleshooting, PLCs, VFDs, or control systems preferred 0-2 years of quality control or manufacturing inspection experience preferred Ability to use hand tools and electrical test equipment Ability to read schematics and technical drawings Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules as needed Must be able to meet physical demands of a manufacturing environment, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working at heights with PPE Work Environment Manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, dust, fumes, temperature variations, and industrial equipment Requires strict adherence to safety procedures and use of personal protective equipment
