Our client is a technology consulting and systems integration company that provides IT infrastructure, communications, automation, and digital transformation solutions for businesses. They are searching for Controls Technicians to join their team ASAP to support with a project in NW Atlanta.
Salary:
$110-145k base salary (flexible/based on experience) + full comprehensive benefits
Job Summary:
The BMS Control Systems Programmer is responsible for the installation, programming, commissioning, maintenance, and support of Building Management System (BMS) solutions. This role works closely with clients, project teams, and service providers to deliver effective automation and control systems while ensuring compliance with quality and information security standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and commission Building Management Systems (BMS) utilizing platforms such as TREND Controls, Schneider Electric, Ignition, and Niagara. Develop and maintain project documentation for both internal teams and clients. Provide technical maintenance and troubleshooting support for installed systems. Design and implement building automation and control solutions. Collaborate with operators, contractors, and service providers to ensure successful project execution. Prepare technical reports, communication documentation, and security audit reports. Support the sales and pre-sales teams by providing technical expertise during the proposal development process. Manage assigned tasks and projects while ensuring adherence to established schedules and deadlines. Diagnose and resolve Level 3 technical incidents and complex system issues. Maintain direct client relationships, including: Presenting technical and commercial proposals Participating in pricing discussions and negotiations Coordinating project schedules and work plans Ensure compliance with
ISO 9001
Quality Management Standards and
ISO 27001
Information Security Standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience working on large-scale construction, automation, or building systems projects. Demonstrated experience supporting project sales efforts, including technical proposal development and client presentations. Experience with BMS programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting in commercial or industrial environments preferred.
Technical Skills Required:
Strong ability to interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings, and measurement schedules. Extensive knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS), automation, and control systems. Experience with PLC programming. Proficiency in building automation technologies and system integration. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and design software, including: AutoCAD Microsoft Visio Presto Working knowledge of: BIM (Building Information Modeling) Microsoft Project
