Job Description
Job Requirements Sweetwater, the nation's #1 online retailer of pro audio equipment and music instruments is seeking to hire a Guitar Gallery Team Lead to add to our growing Guitar Gallery team. We make sure that shopping for a guitar or bass on our website is as exciting and reassuring as it is in person. That's why we go to great lengths to carefully inspect every stringed instrument we sell priced above $299. The Guitar Gallery Team Lead is responsible for assisting Supervisors/Managers throughout this process with their daily workflow, such as Tech I (Tune & Polishing Tech), Tech II (Inspection Tech), Returns Tech, Tech III (Support Tech). While providing additional support for fellow employees on the team; workload flow, communicating with departments outside of the Guitar Gallery, and answering questions from team members. This is a full-time position with overtime opportunities and would require working on-site at our beautiful campus in Fort Wayne, IN!
Shift :
6:00AM to 2:30PM M-F Job Responsibilities:
Verify all pertinent information is with the product from initial intake and serial numbers match on the box, card, and instrument. Verify issues presented by Guitar Techs that caused the instrument not to pass inspection. Further diagnose the issue & perform needed repair in attempt to allow the instrument to pass inspection. Determine if instrument can be sold as a DEMO or needs to be returned to manufacturer/vendor. Making sure to log all notes in our internal system 4D. Communicate daily goals, expectations, and any updates for the team to help start/set the pace day-to-day. Perform daily/weekly audits of the teams' work and communicate results with the team member to reinforce good work practices & to adjust unfavorable techniques. Doing so in a way that helps create a pathway for an employees next step in their career. Assist in updating incorrect item ID's and serial numbers, while communicating these issues to Sweetwater teams such as Merchandising & Inventory Control when necessary.Physical Requirements:
