Controls Engineer

Description

• Develop, validate & standardize controls devices data parsing PLC logic, own and update auto PLC logic generation tool.
• Develop PLC logic (Rockwell, Siemens, Fanuc) using programming languages (Python/C++/etc.)
• Ensure compliance common controls hardware and software strategies for newly developed DLA controls solutions
• Ensure compliance plant floor systems, networking and cyber security requirements
• Collaborate with DLA core team, business, IT, Automation and analytics community to capture, prioritize, plan
• Support

GCCS & GCCH

Controls, Networks and IT architects in development and testing of necessary controls software and inclusion of DLA logic in core PLC templates

• Create & maintain necessary training documents, standardized work sheets
• Understand latest industry trends and explore possibilities of using advance analytics tools
• Understand observations from manufacturing plants and propose improvement solutions & provide feedback
• Plan and support training and guidance to controls execution, strategic suppliers and plant teams as needed Skills Plc programming, python, Allen-bradley Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Detroit, MI.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $43.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
