3rd Shift Controls Technician Roskam Foods tuition reimbursement Mar 30, 2026
Position Description and Purpose:

Key Essential Functions/Duties:
Basic technical knowledge and hands-on skills across a wide range of technical equipment, including PLC's, VFD's, servos, and HMI's. Experience with industrial communication networks (Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, Profibus, AS-I, and others). Basic understanding of safety circuits Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret electrical drawings for troubleshooting, and minor system modifications. Ability to correctly use required tools (multi-meter, computer, wire striper, screwdriver, crimper, etc.) Basic experience with AutoCAD or other CAD programs for modifying and printing electric schematics. Ability to communicate clearly with peers, equipment operators, and supervisors. Motivated to complete tasks with supervision and oversight. Work with suppliers and contractors to complete work maintaining safety, GMP requirements, and high standards. Solid capability to use Microsoft Office programs, primarily: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
