Job Description

Our Team:
At PQI & AIS, we help manufacturers ensure accuracy, reliability, and confidence in their measurement systems. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a technically curious and customer-focused Service Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working independently, and building trusted relationships with customers. You'll help customers optimize the performance of critical equipment used in industries such as aerospace, medical device manufacturing, automotive, and precision machining. What You'll Do As a Service Technician, you will provide calibration, analysis, and troubleshooting for precision measurement (OGP) systems at customer facilities. You will be trusted to independently evaluate equipment performance, determine appropriate corrective actions, and deliver solutions that improve measurement accuracy and reliability.
Responsibilities include:
Perform precision calibration of OGP systems, including linear axes, rotary systems, and multi-axis configurations, at customer facilities. Operate specialized equipment to execute calibration procedures and validate system performance against established standards. Analyze system performance data and independently determine appropriate corrective actions to improve accuracy and repeatability. Apply, adjust, and modify compensation parameters within machine and measurement system controls to optimize performance. Troubleshoot complex technical issues that may not have predefined solutions, utilizing advanced technical knowledge, sound judgment, and problem-solving skills. Assess varying customer environments and determine the most effective approach to achieving calibration and performance objectives. Clearly communicate findings, adjustments, recommendations, and technical concepts to customers in a manner that builds confidence and trust. Document work performed, including non-standard solutions and corrective actions, to support future service activities and continuous improvement efforts. Recommend updates to service procedures and best practices based on field experience to improve efficiency, consistency, and technical effectiveness. Collaborate with engineering and service teams to share technical knowledge and resolve complex challenges. Ensure customer expectations are met through timely, professional, and cost-effective service delivery. Complete calibration reports, service documentation, and required records accurately and on time. Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction while representing

Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
