Role:
Currently looking to hire a BAS Controls Technician in the Charlotte area. This role is focused on installing, programming, commissioning, and servicing building automation systems (BAS) across commercial projects. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality control solutions while working directly with customers, project teams, and field technicians. ________________________________________ What You'll Do Install, program, and commission BAS/DDC systems for new construction and retrofit projects Troubleshoot and service control systems at customer sites Verify system performance and ensure sequences meet project specifications Develop and implement control programs, databases, and graphics Complete commissioning documentation and maintain accurate as-built records Coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to support project execution Provide technical support, training, and follow-up for end users Assist HVAC technicians with controls-related issues in the field Mentor junior technicians and contribute to team development Identify service opportunities and support ongoing customer relationships ________________________________________ What You Bring 3-5+ years of experience working with
BAS / HVAC
controls systems Strong understanding of HVAC equipment and control sequences Experience with platforms such as Tridium Niagara (N4/AX), Distech, or similar Ability to troubleshoot, program, and commission DDC systems Comfortable working directly with customers and in the field Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Valid driver's license Nice to
Have:
Technical degree or formal training in HVAC, electronics, or controls Experience with multiple BAS platforms or OEM systems A bit about us:
