Job Description
Controls TechnicianPosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Controls Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of control systems and automation equipment. The primary focus will be to ensure efficient operation of various machinery and equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstall and configure control systems and automation equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems, including I/O systems and vision systems.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on automation equipment and control systems.
Collaborate with engineering teams to implement control solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
Work with low voltage wiring and panel wiring to ensure proper connections and functionality.
Utilize SQL databases for data management and reporting related to control systems.
Program and utilize control software including C# and VB for automation tasks.
Maintain and calibrate sensors such as Keyence sensors and CO2 laser marking systems.
QualificationsProven experience in automation and controls, preferably in an industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of I/O systems, low voltage wiring, and panel wiring.
Experience with vision systems, SQL databases, and industrial networking.
Familiarity with programming languages such as C# and VB.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
