  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Valve Technician to join our dynamic maintenance team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of valves and related control systems within industrial manufacturing environments. Your expertise will ensure optimal operation of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, contributing directly to the efficiency and safety of our production processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, electrical experience, and familiarity with advanced control systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and distributed control systems (DCS). This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize precision measuring instruments, and deliver exceptional field service support. Duties Install, repair, and calibrate various types of valves used in industrial processes, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues using schematics, calibration tools, ohmmeters, sensors, and vision inspection systems Perform preventive maintenance on valves, actuators, sensors, and associated equipment to minimize downtime Read and interpret complex schematics, AutoCAD drawings, and control system diagrams to diagnose faults effectively Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify valve performance and alignment Support commissioning activities by configuring programmable logic controllers (PLCs), Calypso software, and low/high voltage electrical systems Conduct field service visits to customer sites for troubleshooting, repairs, and system upgrades while maintaining excellent customer service Assist in the integration of sensors, vision inspection systems, CNC machinery, and other automation components into existing manufacturing lines Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, calibration records, and system modifications in compliance with industry standards Experience Proven experience working as a Valve Technician or in a similar industrial maintenance role with a focus on hydraulics and mechanical systems Strong electrical background with experience in industrial electrician tasks involving low voltage (LV) and high voltage (HV) systems Familiarity with E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) principles including calibration of sensors and control devices Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), AutoCAD for schematic reading/drawing interpretation Knowledge of mechanical components such as actuators, fittings, seals, and precision measuring instruments like ohmmeters and calipers Experience supporting manufacturing environments with CNC machinery or vision inspection systems is preferred Background in military or industrial maintenance environments is advantageous for understanding high standards of safety and reliability Join us to be part of a forward-thinking team committed to innovation in industrial valve solutions.
