job summary: A leading electronics manufacturer is searching for a skilled Automation Controls Technician. We are seeking candidates with experience setting up and operating machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and welding equipment to machine or fabricate parts. Candidates must also be able to verify conformance of machined parts to specifications. This position requires 5+ years of experience in a mechanic, manufacturing, or machinist environment and/or training. An Associate's Degree in an engineering/technology field is an advantage. This is a temp-to-hire position ranging from $22.89-$47.78/hr 1st

Lincoln, New Hampshire job type: Contract salary: $22.89 - 47.78 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Associates responsibilities: Study models in SolidWorks, technical drawings, sketches, and descriptions to guide the physical build of automation equipment.

Lift, position, secure, and fit machined parts together into precise assemblies and complex mechanisms on a surface plate or worktable.

Calculate dimensions, plan equipment layout, and determine the most effective assembly methods.

Verify part dimensions, alignments, and clearances to ensure absolute conformance to technical specifications.

Wire and plumb machines under the guidance of engineers and technicians.

Set up, utilize, and troubleshoot basic automation electronics, including sensors and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).Manage and organize incoming materials from the internal machine shop and outside vendors for all assigned projects.
