BMS Controls Technician III - Wonderware/Aveva
Newark, NJ / Jersey City, NJConstruction - BMS /Full-Time /On-Site This is a senior-level Controls Technician role focused on delivering mission-critical BMS service projects across Central and Northern New Jersey. Unlike Tech II, Tech III candidates must operate independently at a high level: leading troubleshooting, programming, commissioning, and integration tasks in live data center environments. This role directly supports a key client with high uptime and compliance requirements.
Required Skills
5-12+ years hands-on experience in BMS, SCADA, PLCs, or HVAC controls (senior-level only).
Independent troubleshooting + commissioning in live data centers (client-facing).
Proficiency in Wonderware/Aveva, with priority order below
Strong HVAC grounding (control sequences, integration)
Ability to interpret and mechanical drawings and control schematics
Willingness to be at the client site 5-days a week; M-F
