Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Valve Technician to join our team in Swedesboro, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our valve systems through mechanical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair. If you have a passion for hands-on work and possess a strong background in both mechanical and electrical systems, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on various valve systems. Conduct preventive maintenance and inspection to ensure equipment reliability. Utilize your journeyman's license to execute electrical installations and repairs. Diagnose and resolve electrical issues using multimeters and other diagnostic tools. Execute pipefitting tasks as needed to support valve operations. Provide service, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Maintain and repair valves and systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Utilize power tools and measurement gauges for precise work. Operate overhead cranes safely and efficiently during maintenance tasks. Collaborate with team members to enhance overall operational efficiency. Qualifications Proven mechanical troubleshooting skills with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems. Experience in preventive maintenance and inspection practices. Strong electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair skills. Proficient in pipefitting or HVAC service, installation, and maintenance. Boiler certification with experience in boiler troubleshooting. Diesel Mechanic, Truck Mechanic, or Auto Mechanic experience Demonstrated ability to work with industrial electrical systems. Familiarity with multimeters, power tools, and measurement gauges. Ability to operate overhead cranes safely. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
