Tulsa, OK Pay:
$20 to $30/hour

Contract Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:30am to 3:30/4:00pm ProRecruiters is seeking a Valve Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
Perform inspection, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial valves, including gate, globe, check, butterfly, plug, ball, and control valves Assist with valve disassembly, cleaning, inspection, reporting, reassembly, and functional testing in both workshop and field service environments Operate valve diagnostic and testing equipment to evaluate valve performance before and after repair Read and interpret schematics, repair manuals, drawings, and technical documentation to support assembly and repair activities Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Quality Control Manuals, manufacturer specifications, and applicable industry standards Document repair activities, inspection findings, testing results, and quality records in paper and electronic formats Support failure analysis and communicate repair recommendations to supervisors and customers as needed Machine materials and components using manual machining equipment when required Interface professionally with customers during on-site troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair activities Perform routine safety inspections and maintain compliance with all company and job site safety procedures Maintain organized work areas and prioritize workload to support efficient operations and project completion
Position Requirements:
Previous valve repair experience preferred Manual machining experience preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and technical documents Strong organizational and time management skills Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members Experience in the oil and gas industry or industrial systems environment is a plus Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and web-based service platforms Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license with a good driving record required ProRecruiters is part of Array Corporation, the leading technology-enabled workforce solutions company whose mission is to fix how work is bought, sold and delivered to enable access to the American Dream.
