McInnes Rolled Rings in Erie, PA is seeking an Electrical Controls Technician to join our team. Average annual salary includes base pay and bonuses only! Overtime is additional. What is a Electrical Controls Technician at McInnes responsible for?

• Perform PLC programming changes and modifications (Allen Bradley, Siemens preferred) Programming of VFD's; HMI interfacing (Powerflex, ABB, SEW drives Panelview HMIs) Execute instrument calibration (DC powered loops, 4-20 mA, and Digital) Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics Troubleshoot and repair plant operating systems with minimal downtime; troubleshoot all electrical components, PLC's, and controls Analyze all electrical systems, support and effectively recommend improvements or changes to insure efficiency, dependability, and currency; Maintain equipment logs that record performance problems, repairs, calibrations, or tests; Complete scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, such as inspecting, cleaning, repairing, or upgrading equipment; to detect and prevent problems; Consult with customers, supervisors, or engineers to plan layout of equipment or to resolve problems in system operation or maintenance; Examine work orders and converse with equipment operators to detect equipment problems and to ascertain whether mechanical or human errors contributed to the problems; Coordinate efforts with other workers involved in installing or maintaining equipment or components; Advise management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, or suggestions for product improvements ; Maintain excellent attendance and take on other duties as assigned Why work for McInnes Rolled Rings?
