Job Description
North American Machine Works has an immediate full time, experienced, day shift opening for a mechanic experienced in the repair of Pressure Relief Valves, Control Valves, Gate Valves, & Check Valves. We offer top wages, benefits, and overtime. Responsibilities include disassembly, inspection, assembly and testing of pressure relief valves, control valves, gate, globe, and check valves. Machining is a plus. Field Service is required as needed by all mechanics and can be a large part of week to week work. Workers receive extra pay on field jobs. Must have a valid driver's license, pass a physical, drug test and background check. Employment offers opportunities for Manufacturing schools/training, training within the company for our wide range of valve and machine shop capabilities to add skill sets' to career. North American Machine Works, Inc. started in 1972 as a 4 person compressor valve shop and remains a family-owned organization that grew to 30+ employees out of hard work, sacrifice, and an employee centered culture. We work with customers in the Power, Chemical, Refinery, Pharmaceutical, Water & Wastewater, Food & Beverage, and other process-centered industries.
