Job Description

Description:
Allied Control Services, Inc. is currently seeking a full time Instrumentation and Controls Field Service Technician. Positions are available in the
PA/NJ/NY/DE
areas. We are an integrator of automated systems for industrial control and SCADA applications. This position is field based and requires travel throughout the
PA/NJ/NY/DE
areas to provide calibration, startup, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting for a wide variety process instrumentation and control equipment. Company vehicle and travel compensation are provided, overnight travel approximately 10-20%.
Requirements:
Valid Driver's license and High School Diploma. Completion of AAS in Technical Curriculum or Technical Trade School desired. 5+ years' experience with process instrumentation and controls. Ability to work under minimal supervision to complete projects safely and efficiently, and with a high degree of accuracy Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, climb ladders and lift over 50 lbs. Proficient with windows PC and Microsoft Office applications Job Qualifications Knowledge of process instrumentation, including flow, analytical instruments, temperature, pressure and level from a variety of manufacturers such as Siemens, Hach, Rosemount, Endress & Hauser, Honeywell, Foxboro, Siemens, ABB, etc. Experience with calibration and test equipment, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of process control equipment. Strong understanding of wiring schematics and field instrumentation wiring Customer service skills with attention to detail and professional behavior Working knowledge of PLC systems desired but not required. We will train the right candidate on this equipment.
