Position Type:
Full-Time We are seeking motivated BAS Controls Technicians to join our growing team in Rhode Island. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to build a long-term career in Building Automation Systems (BAS), HVAC controls, and smart building technology. Responsibilities Assist with installation and startup of BAS/DDC control systems Troubleshoot HVAC equipment and control devices Work with controllers, sensors, actuators, relays, and control wiring Perform point-to-point checkout and functional testing Read wiring diagrams, control drawings, and schematics Support commissioning and system integration activities Connect to controllers using laptops and software tools Learn BAS platforms such as Niagara, Tridium, BACnet, Siemens, Johnson Controls, or Honeywell systems Document service work and communicate with customers professionally Work alongside senior controls technicians and project teams Qualifications Entry-level candidates welcome Junior technicians encouraged to apply HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or controls experience preferred Basic understanding of low-voltage wiring and HVAC systems is a plus Willingness to learn programming and networking concepts Ability to use hand tools, meters, and laptops Strong troubleshooting and communication skills Valid driver's licence required Preferred Backgrounds Candidates with experience or education in the following are encouraged to apply: HVAC Service Electrical Work Building Automation Industrial Maintenance Facilities Maintenance Mechanical Systems Technical or Trade School Programs Compensation & Benefits Pay up to $50/hour based on experience Overtime opportunities Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (where applicable) Health insurance 401(k) Paid training and career advancement Hands-on mentorship and growth opportunities
