Controls Technician North Charleston, SC

Analyze equipment failures and implement long-term solutions. Modify and improve PLC programs and control systems. Support production equipment startups, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to improve equipment performance and reliability. Provide technical support and guidance to production and maintenance personnel. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; Technical Degree preferred. 2+ years of controls, automation, or industrial maintenance experience. Experience with PLCs, ladder logic, VFDs, servo systems, and electrical troubleshooting. Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints. Strong mechanical and technical problem-solving skills. Manufacturing experience preferred. Preferred Experience Robotics and automation programming Cognex or Keyence vision systems TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) CNC controls and programming DC torque fastening systems If you're ready to take your controls and automation career to the next level, apply today!
