Essential Functions of Job:
Maximize equipment uptime by quickly resolving causes of electrical and mechanical malfunctions on all equipment. Assist the maintenance department in installing new electronic/electrical control equipment and making it operational. Provide technical support to the maintenance department when required. Recommend and initiate modifications or replacement of equipment which fail to meet operating standards. Keep updated electrical drawings and schematics on all production and plant equipment. Maintain master backups for all machine programs. Provide support for Programmable Logic Controllers, robots and Panel Views to maximize both quality and production.
Additional Responsibilities:
Maintain current corporate programming standards. Improve human machine interfaces. Implement quality improvements.
Required Education Level:
​​Technical School​
Area of Study:
Electrical Engineering Technology or similar. •Equivalent work experience may also be considered for this position.
Required Qualifications:
​​1 -3​ Minimum Years of Experience as an electronic engineer, electrician or similar. ​​1-3​ Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.
