Job Description

OverviewThis is an early-career opportunity for an Entry-Level Controls Engineer to support industrial automation and manufacturing projects. This role is designed for candidates who are eager to learn and grow through hands-on execution while working closely with senior engineers. You will gain exposure to real-world controls systems, field installations, and commissioning activities while developing a strong foundation in automation best practices.

Key ResponsibilitiesSupport senior controls engineers with automation and controls projects across manufacturing and industrial environmentsAssist with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and testing under guidanceSupport basic HMI development, updates, and troubleshootingRead and interpret electrical schematics and assist with panel wiring and field connectionsParticipate in field support activities, including system startup, commissioning, and validationAssist with system documentation, testing procedures, and change trackingFollow established safety procedures while working in industrial environmentsLearn and apply industry safety standards during project executionTechnical Expectations (Minimum Requirements)Foundational understanding of PLC concepts and logicBasic exposure to HMI systems (screen navigation, simple edits, alarms, or trends)Introductory knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panelsWillingness to participate in field work, including startup and commissioning supportStrong desire to learn automation systems through hands-on executionBenefitsGenerous employer contribution to the Employee portion of medical insurance (75+%).Dental, Vision, and Gap insurance offered.
