This role ensures that all mechanical assets are fully verified, tested, and formally handed over to Facilities and Manufacturing with full compliance to codes, project specifications, and safety standards. The Lead serves as the primary technical authority for mechanical systems during commissioning and plays a critical role in ensuring operational readiness, reliability, and long-term performance of factory systems and the team's continued operational status. What You'll Do Track Commissioning readiness and plan support for assets going through the construction phase and attend/support project meetings Ensure that equipment has passed the QA stage and is ready for Commissioning Audit the team to verify that they establish and follow the Pre-Task Plan, obtain alignment with the craft teams, and communicate equipment needs to the assigned Commissioning/contractor teams while verifying all members have necessary PPE and testing equipment to ensure readiness for daily activities Coordinate area access and handover preparations with Facilities/Manufacturing, verifying that installations meet both code and project specification requirements Functional Testing, flushing, troubleshooting, and preparing equipment for use, including submittal of LOTO removal requests and ensuring all testing/flushing activities strictly adhere to SOPs and safety guidelines Ensure CxAlloy and associated commissioning documentation is complete and stored properly.
