Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled BAS Controls Technician to join our team and drive excellence in building automation systems. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing Building Automation Systems (BAS) that enhance operational efficiency and occupant comfort. Your expertise will ensure that complex control systems operate seamlessly across various industrial and commercial facilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, contribute to energy efficiency initiatives, and support our commitment to sustainable building management. Responsibilities Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot BAS controls including sensors, actuators, valves, and controllers to ensure optimal system performance. Maintain and repair distributed control systems (DCS), programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and vision inspection systems used in building automation. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately. Perform calibration of sensors, measurement instruments such as ohmmeters, and precision measuring devices to guarantee precise operation. Conduct field service activities involving high voltage and low voltage electrical systems, ensuring safety standards are strictly followed. Support manufacturing processes by integrating automation controls Collaborate with clients to provide excellent customer service by diagnosing problems promptly and implementing effective solutions. Skills Strong knowledge of Controls and BAS equipment Extensive electrical experience including calibration techniques, and schematics interpretation. Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), for system design or modifications. Familiarity with sensors, vision inspection systems, high voltage safety protocols, and distributed control systems (DCS). Experience working with CNC machinery, Ohmmeters, calibration tools, and precision measuring instruments. Excellent troubleshooting skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance and system optimization.
