Job Description

Hi-Kalibre Equipment is looking for a responsible, safe, and dedicated Service Technician/Shop Hand to join our team at our Houston office (10197 Windfern Road) . The Service Technician, will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and assembling products for our customers. This candidate will also be responsible for deliveries, shipping and receiving and other duties.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm Flexibility in schedule may be required
Position Overview:
Valve Technician position is responsible for performing service, repair, and assembly work for designated product lines. This position is responsible to follow the proper quality and safety standards while performing repair and assembly duties.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Dismantling and cleaning of incoming repair work in a timely manner. Estimation of repair work including measuring, evaluating and critical comparison of used equipment to provided engineering and production standards. High quality and timely assembly of both new OEM and customer equipment after estimation. Performing job-specific tasks required to produce new equipment, such as painting and lapping. Use of cranes, lathes, drill press, parts washer and other machinery to carry out work on valves and actuators. Report quality issues through our Non-Conformance Report (NCR) as required. Perform work in accordance with safety program and procedures, with due care and attention for both yourself and your co-workers. Meet or exceed allotted repair operation times to ensure that the overall service schedule can be met. Performing daily pre-start-up inspection of machines and equipment in accordance with maintenance programs. Any other duties as directed by your Foreman.
Qualification Requirements:
(Minimum Education and Experience) High School Diploma or equivalent. Mechanical background is preferable. Some Oilfield experience and working in the shop environment.
Self-starter:
motivated, task focused, and results driven. Good oral and written communication skills.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to sit, and/or stand for long periods of time. Able to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs Exposure to dust, fumes or gasses Exposure to change of temperature or humidity Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
