Role:
We're looking for a Project Manager to lead the execution of Building Automation (BAS) and HVAC Controls projects from kickoff through completion. This role will oversee project delivery across commercial and institutional environments, ensuring systems are installed, integrated, and commissioned to meet client expectations, timelines, and budgets. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who understands controls systems, mechanical coordination, and field execution—not just paperwork. ________________________________________ What You'll Be Doing Manage full lifecycle of
BAS / HVAC
controls projects (design coordination installation commissioning closeout) Act as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams Coordinate with field technicians, programmers, and subcontractors to ensure successful system integration Oversee scheduling, budgets, change orders, and project documentation Support system design reviews, submittals, and technical planning Ensure proper installation and commissioning of building automation systems, including HVAC controls and energy management systems Troubleshoot project issues and drive solutions in real-time Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for future work ________________________________________ What We're Looking For 3-7+ years of Project Management experience in: o Building Automation (BAS / BMS) OR o HVAC mechanical systems with controls exposure Strong understanding of HVAC systems (RTUs, AHUs, VAVs, chillers, etc.) and controls integration Experience managing commercial construction or retrofit projects Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders (GCs, engineers, field teams) Comfortable reading plans, specs, and control drawings Strong communication and problem-solving skills Bonus if you have experience with: o
- Niagara, Tridium, Distech, Johnson Controls, Siemens, or similar platforms o
- Low voltage / integration systems (access control, fire, security) A bit about us:
