We design, build, and install custom automation systems for some of the largest manufacturers in the country. We move fast, we do quality work, and we don't babysit. We need a sharp electrical/controls tech for an upcoming AGV charger installation project. This is a 1099 contract — currently running about 20 hours per week over 3-4 weeks, with real potential for continued work as projects come in. What you'll be doing: Wiring and terminating electrical systems on-site Installing and commissioning control panels Working with Allen Bradley Armor Blocks Scissor lift operation (aerial work required) Reading and working directly from schematics — no hand-holding You're the right person if: You have hands-on controls and automation experience — Journeyman background is a plus, not a requirement You can read a schematic cold and execute without someone standing over your shoulder You take ownership on-site — you see what needs to happen and you handle it You're professional, show up on time, and represent yourself and the job well You're scissor lift certified or willing to certify before start What this isn't: This isn't a role for someone who needs daily direction or step-by-step supervision. We run lean. You'll be working alongside a team that expects you to carry your weight and communicate when something's off — not wait to be told what to do next.

Pay:

$35-$45/hr depending on experience and capability. We pay for value, not just availability.
