Production Lead Flow Control Industries (www.flowcontrol.com), a growing manufacturer of pressure-independent valves for commercial, fluid-based HVAC systems, is hiring an Assembly Technician for its assembly operation. Summary:
Ensures proper assembly and testing of DeltaPValves®, including actuation and commissioning. Supports the Production, Engineering and customer service functions. Complies with quality and safety policies and procedures as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of moderate to complex repetitive and non-repetitive assembly/ calibration duties and troubleshooting in accordance with documented work instructions Perform and ensure accuracy of factory acceptance testing for all phases of DeltaPValves® in accordance with documented work instructions. Report testing anomalies to Production Lead or Production Manager Ensure that build sheets, datasheets and quality sheets are complete, accurate, and signed Properly use standard/special tools and test equipment Ensure test equipment is in good, safe operating condition and escalate repair requirements to Production Lead as needed Assist in installing new equipment as needed Assist in painting parts and packaging finished goods Comply with all safety rules Maintain a safe, clean, and effective work environment Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. One plus (1+) year of demonstrated hands-on experience with and/or training on all essential duties and responsibilities listed above Experience working in a manufacturing facility a plus, particularly in an assembly or machine shop High school diploma or equivalent required Experience working in an
ISO 9001
2015 facility a plus Self-motivated, independent, reliable and a team player Able to consistently follow processes and instructions Attention to detail Able to maintain positive working relationships throughout the department and company Commitment to a high level of quality and continual improvement High level of personal and business ethics Solutions/results-oriented, customer service approach Excels in a fast-paced environment Strong mechanical background Able to operate forklift and pallet jacks, and to handle materials in a safe manner Experience safely using hand•and light-duty power tools Experience with/knowledge of HVLP painting Able to read and correctly interpret documents such as safety rules, product prints, operating and maintenance instructions, work instructions and procedure manuals Neat and easily readable penmanship Above average written and verbal communication skills with all levels of company personnel Above average ability working with numbers Able to consistently accurately count material/part quantities Able to successfully balance and prioritize multiple requests Able to identify the root cause of issues and implement corrective actions Above average problem-solving and analytical skills
