AD Untitled Horror Proof of Concept Staff & Crew Nonunion Short Film Drama Horror Mystery Location:
New Orleans, LA Apply Be one of the first to apply! Save Job The First Assistant Director (1st AD) manages the daily operations of the set, ensuring production runs on time and safely. Working closely with the Director and Producer, the 1st AD creates and maintains the shooting schedule, leads production meetings, and coordinates cast and crew activities. They oversee set discipline and troubleshoot logistical challenges. The 1st AD ensures compliance with safety standards and union regulations while maintaining clear communication across departments.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a 1st or 2nd AD, strong leadership and organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, and knowledge of production workflows and scheduling software. Must be based in New Orleans, LA for consideration.
