Picture Framer (Part-Time) Sunset Custom Framing is looking for a creative, detail-oriented picture framer to join the team in St. Petersburg, Florida. This is a very part-time position with flexible hours, ideal for someone with prior framing experience who enjoys working with their hands, handling artwork, and being part of a creative environment. Sunset Custom Framing is a conservation-focused custom frame shop located inside The Factory St. Pete in the Warehouse Arts District. The shop works with artists, collectors, photographers, and homeowners to preserve and present artwork, photographs, and memorabilia with the highest level of care. Responsibilities Cutting and assembling mats and frames Mounting and fitting artwork Handling glass and acrylic Joining moulding and assembling finished frames Assisting with production and quality control Maintaining a clean and organized workspace Occasionally assisting with artwork pickup, delivery, and installation Preferred Experience Previous experience in a custom frame shop Strong attention to detail Comfortable handling original artwork and delicate materials Ability to work independently and take pride in craftsmanship What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is creative, detail-obsessed, and genuinely enjoys precise hands-on work. They have experience in custom framing. They might have experience in art handling, fabrication, woodworking, or other forms of meticulous craft work.
