Schedule:
Full-time | Monday-Friday | Opportunities for overtime Midwest Sign Company is seeking an experienced Vinyl Technician to support our production and installation teams. This role combines technical expertise in vinyl production with hands-on installation work in both the shop and the field. You'll be responsible for preparing, producing, and applying high-quality vinyl graphics across a variety of projects. If you're detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and experienced with both equipment and installation, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Operate vinyl plotters, laminators, and large-format printers Prepare artwork files and set up jobs for production Weed, mask, and assemble vinyl graphics Perform vinyl installations in-shop and in the field (vehicles, windows, walls, signage, etc.) Ensure accuracy and quality from file setup through final installation Maintain equipment, materials, and an organized workspace Troubleshoot production or installation issues as they arise Coordinate with team members to meet project deadlines What We're Looking For Experience with vinyl plotting machines, large-format printers, and related equipment Proficiency working with art files and production software (FlexiSIGN, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or similar) Proven experience applying vinyl graphics in both shop and field environments Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical installation work Valid driver's license for field installation work
