We currently have a full time shop position available and are seeking candidates with experience in wood working, cabinet making/building, or carpentry. Join our team of skilled craftsmen and continue to build your skillset by helping create beautiful handcrafted products. Work with the finest quality Clear Western Red Cedar, Knotty Western Red Cedar and Douglas Fir and more!
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and set up machines and tooling for woodwork manufacturing. Safely lift and maneuver wood pieces onto machines for processing. Operate a variety of woodworking equipment, such as saws, milling machines, and sanders, with precision. Ensure all products meet project specifications by making necessary adjustments during production. Select and calibrate cutting, milling, boring, and sanding tools to achieve project requirements. Utilize hand tools for trimming pieces and constructing high-quality products with attention to detail.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Some experience is a plus but on the job training is offered Regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds Dependable transportation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Computer literacy preferred.
Experience operating equipment like:
Large belt sander (timesavers), Planers, Jointers, Rip saws, Pull saws, Shapers and or moulders, Upcut saws, Skill saws and panel saws, Various small wood working tools, Hand Sanders and sanding.
COMPENSATION
Based on experience Paid weekly
