Job Description
Entry Level Glazier in Akron, Ohio, USA As an entry level Glazier at our company in Akron, Ohio, you will work under the supervision of experienced glaziers to assist with the installation and repair of glass windows, doors, and other structures. This is an excellent opportunity for someone without prior experience or training in the glazing profession.
Key Requirements:
- Must be willing to learn on-the-job and follow instructions from experienced glaziers
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects, work at heights, and stand for long periods of time
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Responsibilities:
- Assist with measuring, cutting, and installing glass panes according to specifications
- Use hand and power tools to remove old or broken glass and install new pieces
- Clean up worksite after installation or repair is complete
- Follow safety protocols at all times while working on job sites
- Attend training sessions as required to further develop your skills as a glazier
