Apr 23, 2027 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Instructor positions in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Applicants must be American Board of Radiology certified or eligible. The successful candidates must also have completed a diagnostic radiology residency. Responsibilities may include providing final interpretations of x-ray and bone radiographs. The successful candidate will also participate in shared after-hour and weekend coverage, case review series, and didactic lectures with residents and musculoskeletal imaging fellows. The successful applicant will have an opportunity to develop research and advanced clinical expertise credentials. Instructors are provided with research and educational support to prepare them for an academic and/or clinical career. A specialized research focus may be developed in consultation with the division chief. Penn Radiology provides clinical services for the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia Veteran Affairs Medical Center, and affiliated outpatient imaging centers in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
