As a Vidor Artisan , you'll transform standard garage doors into handcrafted works of art, painting steel to look like natural wood through color, texture, and technique. Every door you finish leaves a signature of craftsmanship that customers notice before they even step inside. This position is one of the most sought-after roles in our company, where art meets precision, and your creativity becomes part of something that lasts. What You'll Do Paint and finish garage doors to replicate authentic woodgrain patterns Mix glazes and color tones to achieve consistency and depth Maintain clean, organized tools and work areas Collaborate closely with your team to ensure quality and on-time completion Follow defined techniques while continually learning and refining your craft Embrace feedback and contribute to improving processes and color systems What Makes You a Great Fit Natural artistic ability — steady hand, visual balance, and color sense Desire to master the craft of faux wood finishes Ability to take feedback and refine your work Comfortable working on ladders and around industrial equipment Team-oriented mindset and reliability Experience in art, design, painting, or finishing a plus (but not required) What We Offer We believe great work deserves great support.
