  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cabinet Finisher to join our assembly team.
In this role, you will be responsible for applying finishes to cabinetry and wood components, ensuring a high-quality, smooth, and durable surface. Your expertise will help bring our custom designs to life, enhancing the aesthetic appeal and longevity of our products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team dedicated to craftsmanship and excellence. This is not a general painting job. We are looking for someone with cabinet, furniture, millwork, or fine-finish spray experience.
Duties Surface Preparation:
Prep solid wood, veneers, and MDF surfaces by sanding, filling, and inspecting for any blemishes prior to coating.
Color Matching:
Accurately match custom paint colors and wood stains to meet design specifications and maintain batch consistency.
Finishing Application:
Efficiently mix and apply primers, paints, stains, glazes, lacquers, and sealants using spray equipment and hand-wiping techniques.
Quality Control:
Inspect finished products to ensure a smooth, even finish completely free of runs, dust, or defects.
Equipment Maintenance:
Clean and maintain spray guns, booths, pumps, lines, and safety equipment to ensure peak operational performance.
Team Collaboration:
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and coordinate seamlessly with our assembly and design team to meet production deadlines.
Requirements Experience:
2-3 years of dedicated experience finishing high-quality wood products or custom cabinetry.
Technical Skill:
Proven expertise in matching paint colors and applying uniform wood stains.
Equipment Knowledge:
Strong familiarity with automated/pneumatic spray finishing systems and manual sanders.
Detail-Oriented:
A sharp eye for color variants, wood grain characteristics, and finish texture imperfections.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive tasks (sanding/wiping), and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
