Aug 18, 2026 Job Description Vermont Day School is an independent PreK-8 school in Shelburne, Vermont. The school offers exceptional instruction in academics, along with a project-based approach to learning that fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity and collaboration. We are seeking an additional STEM teacher to plan and implement curriculum using a project-based approach. The curriculum incorporates specific scientific skills and concepts that align with the standards, while also incorporating the design process with elements of math, technology and engineering. Knowledge and interest in robotics, 3D printing, circuitry, maker skills, and coding is a plus, although not a prerequisite. Must have experience developing inter-disciplinary project based curriculum and knowledge about how to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of learners. The STEM teacher will work collaboratively with our current STEM teacher, along with other subject area teachers on projects and integrated learning experiences. This position is part-time, two days per week. There may be an opportunity to take on additional responsibilities in the school to create a full-time position.
