Able to perform according to company safety and quality standards with no violations and should meet the "Medium Standard" rate of production speed. Additionally, has a strong work ethic and champions our company culture and values Basic Qualifications Minimum 2 years relative industry experience (commercial/industrial) Successful completion of drug and alcohol screening Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation with clean motor vehicle record (MVR) Strong safety knowledge & awareness Strong knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies used Highly reliable member crew member Desired Qualifications A quick learner, able to take instruction with high quality and production Ability to perform in an active and fast-paced production environment Knowledge of OSHA 10 guidelines, certification is a plus Performance Responsibilities Strict adherence to all Safety Responsibilities Strong technical skills according to job area with quality and production awareness Engages in ongoing career development (career ladder and training opportunities) and requires minimal on-site supervision of job-related tasks. Safety Responsibilities Expected and encouraged to participate in safety and health program activities including the: reporting hazards, unsafe work practices and accidents immediately to their supervisors, and wearing required personal protective equipment. Follow safety procedures, and complete all assigned safety training. Recognize and correct hazards and report hazards to the appropriate supervisor. Conduct all work in a safe and efficient manner complying with all local, state and federal safety and health regulations, programmatic standards, and special safety concerns identified by Painters USA for use in a particular area or with a client. All employees are the experts on the tasks they perform and the tools, equipment, and materials they use. Painters USA therefore encourages workers to report safety and health concerns and make suggestions for making the workplace safer. They can do so directly with their supervisors or Safety Department. All employees will report accidents and incidents immediately to their supervisors.
