Job Title:
2nd Shift Electrical Apprentice Job Description The Electrical Apprentice supports electricians with electrical installations and assembly work while developing technical skills under supervision. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on electrical exposure who are reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a structured, indoor environment. Responsibilities Assist electricians with electrical installations and assembly Build and assemble electrical panels Perform labeling and wire management Support repetitive, high-quality electrical assembly work Learn to read electrical prints, wiring diagrams, and schematics Follow directions closely and work under supervision Maintain a clean and organized workspace Adhere to safety standards and procedures May provide work instructions to, and oversight of, Electrical Assembler work Essential Skills Basic electrical knowledge or hands-on exposure Willingness to work indoors, in factories, and in repetitive build environments Strong attention to detail and consistency Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Interest in learning and growing within the electrical trade Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in manufacturing or industrial electrical settings HVAC helpers with wiring experience Solar apprentices with conduit and panel exposure Skills in bending conduit, control panels, low voltage- 20 WAT and 10 WAT, terminations, blueprint, schematic Why Work Here? Work Environment Work is conducted in an indoor, air-conditioned manufacturing facility. The schedule is Monday to Thursday, 5 pm to 3:30 am, with a 10% shift differential. Some availability on Fridays is required, with occasional mandatory work on Fridays. The role requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch, and climb a portable ladder. Good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination are necessary, and the use of Personal Protection Equipment is required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
