Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Soldering Technician to assemble, solder, and inspect electronic components and assemblies. The ideal candidate has strong hand-soldering skills, can read technical drawings and schematics, and is committed to producing high-quality, reliable work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Perform hand soldering of electronic components (through-hole and/or surface-mount) to printed circuit boards (PCBs) Assemble electronic and mechanical components according to work instructions, schematics, and drawings Inspect solder joints and assemblies for quality, accuracy, and compliance with standards Rework and repair assemblies as needed to meet quality requirements Use soldering irons, hot air tools, microscopes, and other hand tools safely and effectively Follow IPC, company, and industry standards for soldering and assembly Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe workstation Accurately document work performed and report defects or process issues Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve assembly issues Adhere to all safety and quality procedures Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred) 1+ years of experience in electronic soldering or assembly (experience level may vary) Proficiency in hand soldering techniques (through-hole and/or SMT) Ability to read and interpret schematics, bills of materials (BOMs), and assembly drawings Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity Basic computer skills for documentation and work instructions Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications IPC-A-610 and/or
