Duties Interpret and follow detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to accurately assemble electrical systems. Perform electrical wiring tasks using hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and surface mount technology (SMT) components. Install and connect PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assemblies, ensuring proper placement and secure connections. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and ohmmeters to verify component placement and electrical continuity. Solder components onto circuit boards following IPC 610 standards for quality and safety. Assemble mechanical parts and enclosures, integrating electrical wiring within mechanical frameworks with mechanical knowledge. Conduct troubleshooting and testing of electrical circuits using multimeters and other diagnostic tools to ensure functionality and safety. Experience Proven experience working with PCB assembly, electrical wiring, soldering, and schematic interpretation in a manufacturing setting. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their integration into electronic systems. Knowledge of surface mount technology (SMT), IPC 610 standards, and electronic assembly best practices. Hands-on experience with machining tools, hand tools, power tools, calipers, and ohmmeters for precise assembly work. Strong mechanical aptitude combined with electrical experience to understand system layouts and troubleshoot issues effectively. Ability to read schematics accurately and follow detailed technical instructions for complex wiring tasks. Prior exposure to manufacturing environments involving electrical wiring, assembly processes, and quality standards is highly desirable.
