About Lawrence Equipment, Inc. Lawrence Equipment is an innovator in the manufacturing of state-of-the-art equipment for the flatbread and snack food industries. About the role Responsible for running reports which involves following up with mechanics, production control and stockroom for parts. Candidate will be in and out of the office into assembly floor. This role is a Temp to Hire position. What you'll do Printing and referencing sales orders, pick lists, and blueprints in order to track parts for assembly and facilitate timely installation. Physically move parts to destined location, as needed. Coordinate with manufacturing and assembly departments to review discrepancy on production reporting. Ensure timely communication and processing of reports and other documentation. Work on additional projects as assigned by Assembly Control Manager. Responsible for data input into the MRP System based on company sales order backlog. Ensures data relating to assembly is updated and accurate in MRP System. Uphold and follow company policies and procedures.• Qualifications Education - High school diploma/GED required. 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or inventory environment. Strong grasp of Microsoft office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel. Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written. Strong data entry accuracy. Knowledge and understanding of MRP system in an industrial environment. Familiar with the manufacture and assembly process of industrial equipment. Understanding of reading blueprints is plus. Understanding of material gauges and basic shop math is a plus.
Physical Demands:
Standing, walking, crouching, bending up to 8 hours per day. Able to lift up to 40 pounds, up to 1 hours per day.
