Job Description
Hiring Senior Electrical Assembly Technician for Davis, CA. In this role, the technican closely follows work instructions and interprets drawings, while utilizing dexterity, perfected soldering and crimping skills they assemble small components for product sub-assemblies.
The senior electrical assembly technician assembles electrical harnesses and sub-assemblies for integration into deep sea remotely operated vehicles and manipulator arm.
Job Description To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Perform high quality soldering on printed circuit boards and splice together 32AWG wires Crimp terminals onto 32AWG wires Follow Standardized Work practices. Performs highly complex electrical assemblies from detailed blueprints and verbal/written instructions with minimal supervision. Performs inspections of electrical assemblies to ensure it matches assembly prints and work instructions. Periodically performs engineering electrical prototype builds. Incorporates problem solving and process improvements into work flow. You are meant for this job if: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 7 years of electrical assembly experience. Ability to read and understand basic process assembly drawings, bill of materials. Proficient in the use of small hand tools (soldering iron, wire strippers, hand cutters, tweezers and crimpers). Salary Range:
$31.43/hour - $42.52/hour Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without restriction. Manual dexterity using hands, fingers, and arms to push, pull, reach, grab, hold, and lift. Able to View objects under a microscope for long periods of time Ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Frequent use of computer and close viewing of monitor Regular, repetitive arm/hand motion (crimping, soldering, wire stripping, etc.) Work on concrete floors, wearing steel toes boots up to 8-12 hours a day.
