$25.30/hr. We are seeking an Assembler to join our manufacturing team supporting a critical cardiovascular medical device program. This role is responsible for producing high-quality medical devices within a team-based manufacturing cell environment. The Operator II performs detailed assembly, operates specialized equipment, and ensures all products meet quality and regulatory requirements while following documented procedures. This position may involve electronic assembly, mechanical assembly, casting/coating operations, and packaging in a controlled cleanroom environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assemble cardiovascular medical devices and related components according to documented procedures. Perform electronic, mechanical, casting/coating, and packaging operations as required by assigned work area. Work in a controlled cleanroom environment, utilizing microscopes and precision tools. Use hand tools, syringes, razor blades, soldering equipment, and adhesive bonding techniques. Conduct visual inspections and precision measurements on components and assemblies. Perform product testing using computerized test equipment. Repair and rework devices/components using microscopes and appropriate tools. Package finished devices, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation. Maintain accurate and complete production records, travelers, and quality documentation to ensure traceability. Clean tools and equipment per documented procedures and dispose of hazardous waste properly. Follow all safety guidelines and utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE). Notify supervisors or leads of supply shortages and production issues that cannot be readily resolved. Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to support production, quality, and profitability goals. Support the Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager in monitoring individual and cell performance metrics. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2+ years of manufacturing or assembly experience , preferably in medical devices or regulated manufacturing. Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures in English at a 6th-grade level . Ability to communicate effectively in English and follow verbal instructions. Basic math skills at a 6th-grade level . Proficiency with electronic data collection systems and basic computer software. Strong manual dexterity to handle small components and perform precision work. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage work sequencing based on importance and deadlines. Ability to make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision. Work Environment Cleanroom manufacturing environment. Frequent use of microscopes, precision tools, and specialized manufacturing equipment. Standing, sitting, and repetitive hand motions may be required.
