Job Description

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Failure Analysis Technician to join a client in Milpitas. This is a temp to hire position. The role is 100% onsite. Hours for the role are Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
Job Duties:
Position Summary Responsible for troubleshooting, assembling, and maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment. This role involves interpreting technical documentation, adhering to industrial standards, and ensuring accurate assembly and functionality of automated systems. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment issues. Perform Failure Analysis. Perform general mechanical assembly of automated equipment as needed. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to meet technical assembly requirements. Follow industrial electrical wiring standards during installation and repair. Use hand tools and power tools for mounting, assembly, and basic fabrication or modification of equipment. Document configuration changes for future assembly reference. Carry out general tasks such as assembly, cleanup, disassembly, shipment packing, and maintenance. Understand machine functionality for assembly and repair purposes. Collaborate effectively in a team environment, demonstrating accuracy and efficiency. Occasionally assist with machine construction tasks, including wiring, cable routing, power-up testing, and functionality verification. Required Skills Ability to read blueprints and schematics. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. Knowledge of electrical and mechanical devices. Experience assembling high-precision mechanical systems. Strong teamwork, dependability, and willingness to learn. Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office, Google Suite). Preferred Skills High degree of electrical and mechanical aptitude. Experience in electrical maintenance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Associate's Degree. Physical Requirements Ability to perform repetitive arm/wrist motions.
