Full Job Description Location:
Poway, CA Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Cable Assembler III & Electronics Assembler III to perform a variety of electronic and mechanical assembly operations. The ideal candidate will have experience assembling cables, wire harnesses, chassis, printed circuit boards, and mechanical assemblies while working from engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and experience using assembly tools and equipment in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Assemble electronic and mechanical components, assemblies, and subassemblies according to engineering specifications. Perform cable and wire harness assembly, routing, terminating, and installation. Assemble chassis, panels, batteries, servo motors, and other mechanical assemblies. Install components and perform wiring, soldering, and cable harnessing operations. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, wire lists, and assembly instructions. Use hand tools, torque wrenches, soldering equipment, calipers, tape measures, and related assembly tools. Perform rework, modifications, repairs, and disassembly/reassembly as required. Verify work meets quality standards and established tolerances. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Assist with training and mentoring less experienced assemblers when needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with cable assembly, wire harnessing, electronic assemblies, or mechanical assemblies. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, wire lists, and specifications. Experience using hand tools, measuring devices, and assembly equipment. Familiarity with soldering and compression connection tools. Basic computer skills. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to distinguish colors and identify wiring components accurately. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Preferred Qualifications Soldering certification. Experience with LRU (Line Replaceable Unit) assemblies. Experience assembling printed circuit boards, cables, harnesses, and chassis. Knowledge of torque specifications and proper torque application. Work Environment Manufacturing and production environment. May require extended hours based on production schedules. Must follow all safety procedures and quality standards.
Pay:
$25.96 - $27.26 per hour
