Full Job Description Job Summary :

Perform microelectronic equipment assembly and solder operations using schematics, assembly drawings, wire list and process instructions. Read and understand schematics, assembly drawings and wiring diagrams with expertise. Ability to operate wire bonders. Solder thru-hole and surface mount components. Able to identify electronic components.

Job Duties:

Primary task is manufacturing hybrid microelectronic assemblies with soldering and wire bonding. Load and solder PCA boards, both thru-hole and surface mount types, including wire bonding on ceramic substrates. Build production final assemblies and sub-assemblies following written and verbal direction, prototype drawings, production drawings, and prototype if required. Complete quality assembly work in a timely manner. Use soldering rework stations; perform PCA rework. Visually inspect assemblies in progress to ensure compliance to specifications, assembly drawings and schematics. Fill out and maintain necessary paperwork. Ensure paperwork is compliant with quality instructions and manufacturing job instructions. Follow production schedules and advise if problems are found in meeting these goals. Perform other duties as required. Preferred Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in electronic or electro-mechanical related assemblies, preferably in Micro Electronic Assembling industry. Experience with microwave and hybrid circuits assembly, and use of wire bonders. Must be able to process (place and solder) small parts under microscope. Skillful in soldering very small surface mount components. Previous experience in performing rework from red-line documents.
