Electromechanical Assembler

Hiring 1st Shift Assemblers In San Marcos, CA Job Description Will be responsible for assembling laser system components and subassemblies by following detailed work instructions. This role involves hands-on mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly, basic inspection, and the safe operation of production equipment in a manufacturing and cleanroom environment. Responsibilities Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical components according to written specifications and work instructions. Inspect incoming parts and finished assemblies to ensure quality and compliance with specifications. Clean parts using approved solvents and procedures. Operate and monitor production equipment, reporting any issues or abnormalities to the supervisor. Use hand tools and electronic tools such as soldering irons, spot welders, and multimeters. Maintain simple production and yield records as required. Follow all safety, health, and cleanroom procedures, including proper use of PPE. Support company quality standards, ethics, and safety expectations. Assist with cross-training and backup coverage as required for ISO compliance. Essential Skills Electromechanical assembly experience. Ability to follow detailed work instructions and blueprints. Basic inspection experience using micrometers and calipers. Soldering experience preferred. Work Environment The shift is Monday to Friday, 6am to 4:30pm. Temp to hire role Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Marcos, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
