Job Description
Job Summary:
Employee is responsible for assembling electrical equipment. Employee must be a self-starter and detail-oriented. Must be able to read and interpret instructions, assemble parts and tools, and fit electronic components together. Employee must also be able to assist with packaging and shipping when necessary.Primary Responsibilities:
- Assemble materials.
- Clean parts thoroughly.
- Review work activities with supervisors.
- Inspect wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits.
- Assemble electrical or electronic systems or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, soldering or micro-welding equipment.
- Pack finished products for shipment.
- Tag components.
- Perform manual assembly during the small-scale production of electronic devices used in avionic systems, military systems, and medical equipment.
- Fabricate or modify parts, using shop equipment.
- Populate or modify/replace components on printed circuit board assemblies.
- Test functional performance.
