Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling complex electromechanical components and systems, ensuring precision and adherence to quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, with experience in PCB assembly, soldering, and interpreting schematics. Responsibilities Assemble electromechanical devices by following detailed schematics and technical drawings Solder surface mount technology (SMT) components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) using IPC 610 standards Install electrical wiring and connect components utilizing hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment Interpret schematics and technical documentation to ensure accurate assembly processes Use calipers, ohmmeters, and other measurement tools to verify component specifications and electrical continuity Conduct mechanical assembly tasks, including fastening parts with hand tools and machining parts as needed Perform quality inspections in accordance with IPC 610 standards and document inspection results Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot assembly issues and suggest process improvements Adhere to safety protocols and manufacturing best practices throughout all tasks Skills Proven experience in PCB assembly, soldering, and surface mount technology (SMT) Strong understanding of electrical wiring, schematics, and electrical components Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus Knowledge of mechanical assembly techniques and mechanical knowledge of components Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, calipers, and machining equipment Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and IPC 610 standards for electronics assembly Experience with electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting Competence in working with manufacturing processes related to electronics and mechanical assembly Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity Effective communication skills for collaborating within a team environment This position is an integral part of our manufacturing operations, offering a rewarding opportunity for individuals committed to precision engineering and quality craftsmanship.
