This position begins with hands-on assembly of electrical control panels and evolves into on-site installation, troubleshooting, and customer support, including travel within the US. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in electrical systems, automation, or industrial equipment. Key Responsibilities Panel Assembly (Primary Role) Assemble electrical control panels according to schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts Mount components such as breakers, relays, and terminals Perform point-to-point wiring and cable management Label components and ensure clean, organized builds Inspect and test completed panels for quality and functionality Soldering, use of a drill press, and basic hand tools. Field Technician (Growth Role) Travel to customer sites for installation, startup, and commissioning Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues Provide on-site support and basic training to customers Assist with upgrades, repairs, and maintenance Ensure that all systems are optimized for performance, safety, and efficiency Represent the company professionally in the field Collaborate with sales team to understand customer requirements and provide on-site support during product start-up phases. Operate field service tools including amp meters, and low voltage testers to diagnose electrical issues accurately. Other tasks may include providing phone technical support, customer service, and booking travel
Qualifications Assembly Experience:
1 year (Preferred) Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics Basic understanding of electrical systems and wiring (formal training or hands-on experience preferred) Strong attention to detail and workmanship Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools (Including, but not limited to meters and scopes, drill press, soldering tools) Basic computer skills (Email, Excel, Word) Must be able to pass a background check Valid driver's license and clean driving record Preferred (Not Required) Prior field service or installation experience OSHA or safety training Electrical license, formal training or hands-on experience Travel Requirements Willingness to travel within the US for installations and service work (estimated 1-2 weeks per month) Work Environment Combination of shop/warehouse work and on-site field work May involve standing, lifting, and working around electrical equipment Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Health, Dental & Vision insurance CalSavers Retirement Savings Program Paid time off Why Join Us Hands-on training and skill development Clear growth path into a technical field role Opportunity to work on real-world electrical and control systems Small team environmentPay:
